Title: Taking time for ourselves
Bible verse: Mark 6: 30–31
Then the Apostles gathered to Jesus and told Him all things, both what they had done and what they had taught. And He said to them, “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.
Message: We also need moments of rest in order to fulfill our commission.
Summary:
The Lord calls upon us to serve Him and to proclaim His gospel. In order to fulfill our mission in the right manner, we must make time for
- prayer,
- divine service,
- and spiritual conversations
