Message: God helps us attain salvation

Summary:

Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem is not only commemorated on Palm Sunday, but also in the Advent season.

• The exclamation “hosanna”— which means, “Lord, help”—is directed first to the earthly conditions.
• Jesus’ help applies first and foremost to spiritual matters. His help takes the form of mankind’s salvation.
• We ask Him for help in becoming worthy.
• May our pleas for help always be associated with the worship and adoration of the Lord!
