Having received the piece of bread, he [Judas] then went out immediately. And it was night.

Message: Having been strengthened by Christ, let us resist evil.

Summary:

• Judas is the image of unrestrained evil and cunning. He is one of the people who help bring about the death of Jesus.
• The betrayal of Jesus has its source in the evil one.
• Jesus resisted evil and conquered it. He grants His friends the powers they need in order to resist the evil one.
