Bible verse: Luke 15: 31–32
And he said to him, “Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.”
Message: Let us be generous toward others.
Summary:
- Life with the Father, in which we can enjoy security and share in His gifts, is a great wealth and indeed a reason to rejoice.
- Let us not approach God and enumerate all the good works we have done in order to try and receive some special reward.
- Let us rejoice when our neighbour receives salvation and a new hope for the future.
