Title: Salvation for the living and the dead
Text verse: 1 Thessalonians 4: 13–14
But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who
sleep in Jesus
Message: Jesus Christ brings salvation to both the living and the dead.
Summary:
- We give thanks to God for our hope in eternal life.
- The dead in Christ live in a realm in which security and peace prevail.
- The rest of the dead find themselves in a more or less pronounced state of spiritual deficiency.
- Jesus desires to save them all.
