Title: Fellowship with the Lord

Bible verse: Luke 22: 17–18

Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves; for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”

Message: Partaking worthily of Holy Communion establishes our fellowship of life with Christ

Summary:

• The kingdom of God can be near to all those who partake worthily of Holy Communion, namely those who repent and accept the forgiveness of sins and believe in the invisible presence of Christ in the sacrament.
• Let us pray that all may be able to partake worthily of Holy Communion.
• No one can enter into the fellowship of life with Jesus Christ on the basis of his good works.
• Holy Communion also serves to prepare us for the return of Christ and helps us become a firstling.
